Szyb Maciej

Restaurant Szyb Maciej occupies the restored heritage site of the former Concordia mine in Zabrze, giving weddings an industrial backdrop complete with a historic mine tower. The banqueting hall, with its glazed skylight, seats up to 85 guests at rectangular tables, while the first-floor restaurant hall accommodates up to 80 guests with a dance floor. The ceremony can be held in the historic winding-engine building itself, and an outdoor garden is available in summer. The site stands in the Maciejów district of Zabrze, in the heart of the Katowice conurbation, reached from Ostrava via the A1 motorway.
